I offered to make cupcakes for Bible Study. Then I realized I only had 9 cupcake holders and thought I would make a cake. Then I saw my shiny, unused, giant cupcake pan. I thought I'd keep my promise and make a giant cupcake. Well since my oven bakes unevenly the top of the cupcake cooked way fast and the bottom part did not...long story short...I threw the top out and kept the bottom...partly frosted because I did not have time to frost the thing..and did not bring it to Bible Study...sad :(
But here it is...pretty ugly but it tastes like yummy cake :)
i find this really awesome! it brings back memories of when i lived in paraguay. my oven cooked horribly. i would oil a piece of waxed paper and set it on the bottom of the pan to keep it from burning. then i would also rotate the pan several times during it's cooking time. the outcomes looked scary, but tasted super yummy!
