Don't rain on my parade...or my picnic..

Today we were going to go on a picnic. I love picnics on Sundays after church. As a kid we would get KFC for our picnics and go to the train depot. I love picnics :)

But today, was gloomy, rainy, and cold. No picnic for us. We saw the weather last night and saw that it was not going to be picnic weather. But we were still going to have our pasta salad and deviled eggs. So we spread out our blanket on the living room floor, made Dexter enjoy the gloomy outside, and we set out our platter of picnic foods. We also had a meat and cheese plate. 

It was very yummy and very fun. 

We will go on many picnics when the weather is nice. We have our spot at Manito Park we go to. It's the spot we got engaged so we love to go back.

A picnic will  be much nicer when we are actually outside. But we don't let the gloomy clouds ruin our fun.
